Here I thought it was only the Sultan of Brunei that engaged in such heinous disregard for the welfare of a vehicle, a rare and special vehicle to boot.
Maybe the owner died. Or is running away from the mob. Or he forgot his keys in his immense bowl of other keys for the 203921029301 other cars that he probably owns. He might've even forgot because he's senile and Jeeves forgot to remind him to take the car in for a detail.
Maybe the car broke and the owner really didn't have time for the CGT's nonsense, or perhaps the car tried to kill him the last time he took it on a venture through a Starbucks drive through (of course it tried to kill him, who the hell goes to Starbucks? Second Cup is superior!)
The plates are recent, but now expired, so some evidence that it wasn't completely left to die. Or maybe the owner is taking after the Sultan and starting up a collection of forgotten and neglected supercars that start to go bad because they've never been driven for years.
After all, Alberta is the other oil tycoon place of the world, so maybe this guy just wanted to channel some of that Middle Eastern excess into a polar habitat.

There was a parking garage below an apartment building in Arlington, VA that had a clearly-abandoned white Panamera Turbo sitting in the lowest level. It was covered in black grime that people had scrawled all over with their fingers, and the tires had lost a good amount of air. Tags were expired, too.
A friend who lived in the building said that it had been sitting for at least a year, and possibly longer. I don't know whatever happened to it. It could still be there, for all I know.

This is so sad. I'm actually surprised there is one in Alberta. Guessing Calgary but what better car is there to drive highway 2 at full speed? And it's sitting there during the couple months of summer after the rocks are off the roads and before the snow falls.

hey! Be careful. People say the same about my sexy wrxy. She's built, tuned, and auto x proven many times over. She used to get data logged once a week to make sure afr's/boost are on point.
Then I started having seizures and my car has to sit accumulating dust and grime and be generally recognized by my peers and neighborhood as "abandon"
Haven't gone longer than 5 months without having one, since I started at 19. Now I'm 21 and I have expect two a month

that's so sad man. Sorry to hear it. Just brainstorming here, but is there any way for you to go to autox with someone and drive it but if you start having a seizure get the passenger to pull the car out of gear and stop the car for you?

I say start washing/waxing it, kinda looking after it on a regular basis, then try to claim ownership under some sort of crazy auto-squatters rights type of thing
